Odds and Ends

I will try to add some other pictures of our daily life soon, but here are some of the ones I've taken so far so you can imagine our life here.

This first one is our washer/dryer. It is very small, and we can only put four or five pieces in at a time. It takes an hour for the delicate cycle - almost three if we wanted to wash in hot water! Drying is twice the length of time - it takes forever. I try to do some laundry each day so that we never get behind. It is an all day affair!
Here is the door to Bryan's office. It is not on the main campus, but only a street back from our apartment. He has a nice walk to work each day and is pretty close to the main downtown area. Adaline likes his red door. :)
Most everything here is incredibly expensive, so we have been trying to be wise on our purchases. The beautiful irises were only 1.30 euro - which is about $2.50. They are gorgeous, and we aren't sure why they were on clearance at the grocery store! We have enjoyed them for almost a week now, and they are still fragrant and beautiful.
