October 6 - Adaline's third birthday! We started the day with singing and birthday gifts. :) Adaline loved Ra-Ra's gift of jelly beans - and I had to hide them to make sure they would last...
We were sad to see Mimi and Poppa leave - but we were glad to see them before they headed off to Dublin and back to Georgia. They loved The Garnish House, if anyone needs a place to stay in Cork.
We enjoyed a birthday breakfast in a local coffee shop. The highlight for Mommy was the chai tea latte (her first since arriving in Cork!) - the highlight for Adaline was the swivel chairs we sat in...
We took Adaline out for a special dinner. She got to wear a dress with tights and her "clicky-clack" shoes. Adaline felt very special.
She posed with her favorite birthday gift - her first ever Barbie.
The evening was perfect in Adaline's estimation - it ended with two scoops of ice cream. Strawberry and vanilla, of course. :)
