We spent the weekend in County Kerry - our home base was Kenmare, a wonderful town on the coast. Bryan and I would love to own a house in Kenmare after spending time there - it was wonderful.
We stayed in Abbey Court Bed and Breakfast. The owners, Brendan and Ger, were delightful and made everything so easy for us. The views from the back patio were breathtaking.
Adaline almost immediately spotted a bunny in the backyard!
After settling in, we walked about 10 minutes into the town center. The scenery along the way was spectacular.
We had a delicious dinner at Davitt's, which was recommended by our b&b owners. It was a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food.
When we got back to our home for the weekend, we celebrated Adaline's birthday - we decided to celebrate for the entire weekend. :) Bryan says that is because I like birthdays - but I thought it would be fun for her since she doesn't get to celebrate with her friends. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Mom had found a birthday cake back in Cork - and while this picture doesn't show it off well, I loved Adaline's little finger sneaking in just as I was taking the picture... :)
It was a wonderful celebration of Adaline's third birthday!
