October 27 - Cork

Under the tree you might spot a little bare bottom... Yes - we let Adaline go pee-pee under a tree in a park... She suddenly had to go THEN, so we looked around, didn't see a potty for miles, and did the only thing we knew to do... You can see how proud she was below...

Bryan probably will not be glad I put this picture in, but I thought it was cute... :)

Fall has definitely arrived, and we enjoyed walking around in the beautiful weather on the bank holiday. We walked over the shaky bridge to get to the Cork City Gaol (jail).

The jail was designed by one of the people who helped design the university... The picture above is the governor's house (and by governor, we mean the person in charge of the jail - not the Sonny Perdue's of the time).

Adaline actually did fairly well even though it was somewhat boring for her. She was so good that the woman in charge of the museum gave her a lollipop, which she is proudly showing off above.
Hmmm... I think I may need to invest in one of these at home... :)

We walked from the gaol to Shandon to visit beautiful St. Ann's church. We walked all the way up to the top - and halfway up, we got to play the church bells!

We had to wear these beautiful headphones to protect our ears as we walked past the bells. It was loud even with the headphones - I can't imagine not wearing them!

Here is Adaline eating a rice cake and talking to Rah-Rah on the phone!
Last but not least - this is Adaline's Halloween costume. We surprised her with it on Monday, and I wish I had gotten a picture of her eyes when she saw it. She was THRILLED! It made us feel good to make her so happy. :)
