Adaline had a rough day yesterday (and this morning for that matter!) - she has a horrible case of diaper rash. She was not a happy girl when she came home because her little bottom hurt...
But Mimi made it all better. Mommy and Daddy both had early evening appointments, so Mimi came over to serve dinner. After dinner, they went outside, where Adaline repeatedly said "ball - ball - ball" and "car!" - which she says with quite the New Jersey accent! When Bryan and I got home, Adaline was curled up next to Mimi reading books and looking very relaxed.
When I picked Adaline up at school yesterday, Ms. Heather told me about their new sensory art project - Play-Doh! The kids apparently loved squishing the play-doh in their fingers and watching what happens when you pull it apart.
Adaline also was very sweet to her friends yesterday - and she is learning to say everyone's name. "Baby B" is Britton and "Ri-Ri" is Irina. Yesterday, Adaline and Irina hugged and then Adaline gave her a big kiss on the top of Irina's head. Too cute!
