"I too!"

Adaline had such a fun weekend! The highlight was feeding the ducks with Mimi and Poppa - followed by a few bites of ice cream at Hodgson's Pharmacy. Mommy and Daddy don't really allow ice cream, but we have been told that Grandparents are allowed to spoil, spoil, spoil...

Conversations with Adaline continue to grow. Her newest term is "I too!" which in adult language means "me too!" We can't help but give in whenever she say "I too!" - sometimes she wants to do what it is we are doing (eating chips and salsa) and sometimes she wants what we have (the remote control for the tv)!

Adaline also helped in the back yard yesterday. We gave her a little hand tool to help us move mulch around, and she had fun with that for oh... about 60 seconds! Oh well. We will continue encouraging her to help out, which she loves to do.

Finally, we now have a little monkey on our hands - she loves to imitate whatever it is we are doing. If you cross your arms in front of your chest, she crosses her arms - and then wants others in the room to do the same. We have had great fun with this new game and laugh around the dinner table as we come up with poses to imitate. :)
