Yes - we actually had snow in Athens! I blamed it on our friend, Leigh Burwell Smith, who was down visiting from Vermont - she must have brought it with her. For mid-January in the middle of a drought, it was quite exciting to see big, heavy flakes of snow falling in Athens, Georgia. Adaline was entranced and kept asking if it was rain. :) None of the snow stuck, however, making for a very sad Bryan who hoped for a day off from teaching! It was certainly beautiful and made us hope for more in February. Leigh - can you work on that for us?
