Assorted pictures from the holidays

We have discovered that Adaline loves to eat foods that require two-hand holding - the latest example is Adaline chowing down on corn on the cob! She ate Bryan's AND Alison's corn!
Picture Adaline saying "Superstar" along with this pose...
It was actually cold for a few days, so Daddy bundled Adaline up for some riding on her new tricycle. She hasn't quite figured out the peddling aspect, but she's getting there.
Fortunately for Mommy, Adaline enjoys cleaning. This is her sweeping up after church one Sunday...

A little game of croquet

For Christmas, Adaline got a toddler's version of croquet - the oversized balls are meant to be kicked through the hoops. We tried it out this weekend, and Adaline had great fun. However...
She had more fun crawling UNDER the hoops and...
taking the hoops apart (notice Mommy putting the green hoop back together in the background) than actually kicking the balls. We did run back and forth across the yard with the balls - Adaline beat Daddy in a few of the races. Lots of fun!

Planting a tree

When we turned in our Christmas tree, we got a flowering dogwood seedling - and Adaline helped plant it! Hopefully this year's seedling will do better than last year's, which we think was dug up by deer. Adaline was a big help, although she was more interested in digging with a shovel than anything.

Pictures from School

I am hoping to bring my camera in on Monday to upload Christmas pictures - and video - so I apologize for being a little slack over the holidays. Suffice it to say that we had a wonderful Christmas and happy new year - and we hope you did as well!

Adaline is talking a lot, which is tons of fun, and she is enjoying her new baby doll stroller. We are working on riding a tricycle and the continuing saga of potty training. Fun things to look forward to in 2008!

Happy new year!
